Named after a song by Illinois punk band Planes Mistaken For Stars, the Welsh pop punk Funeral For A Friend has been a popular addition to England’s Reading and Leeds Festivals, as well as being main stage favorites on the annual touring Taste of Chaos and Warped Tour road shows.

Drawn to the band’s frenetic onstage energy and shout-a-long catchiness of their music, fans helped secure FFAF’s nomination and awarding of “Best UK Newcomer” in 2003 and “Best British Band” in 2005 by England’s renownedKerrang! Magazine.

Bassist Gareth Davies is directly linked to the band’s visceral energy and rivets into place the vigorous post-hardcore/emo blueprint of their debut album, Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation.
