Jason Buttino began his music career in New York since 5 years of age training in vocals, studying classical piano, playing drums and performing then became serious when He chose to study vocals with the Famous David Kyle, known as “The Maestro” of the New York City Broadway for 32 years. David Kyle include Layne Staley, Chris Cornell, and Ann and Nancy Wilson, not to mention Luciano Pavarotti.
Jason has performed with Seattle band RORSCHACH TEST (sharing the stage with NIN, TOOL, KORN & Queensryche), RiverRed (with members of Gruntruck and the original drummer of SoundGarden) as well as performing on stage with PETER DISTEFANO and on the Warped Tour 2005, ‘Gorge at George’ WA, with the band SLEDGEBACK.

He founded the Alice In Chain/Layne Staley tribute band “JAR OF FLIES”, where he donated proceeds to the Layne Staley Fund,  and  “SOCIAL PARASITE”, an AIC benefit concert in memory of the late Mike Starr, AIC’s original bassist,  featuring  Peter DiStefano, Chris Ghode, also Scotty Olson from the MTV show UNPLUGGED with ALICE in CHAINS will make a special guest appearance. This benefit concert will also feature many special guests in performance.  Jason is donating 100% of proceeds to MusiCares.

Jason’s new band  called “SYMPATHETIC INJECTION” which has his signature bass growl of using his AMPEG SVT 2 Pro and AMPEG 8x 10. Going back to his Grunge and Industrial roots there is no stopping him!
