Piece by piece I have assembled my AMPEG rig. Whether I am feeding the house monitors, in a pit orchestra, with my SVP-Pro preamp or rocking a large outdoor festival with multiple SVT's, AMPEG delivers!
AMPEG's flexibility allows me to dial in my bass (vintage 4 string, fretless, active five & six string or acoustic hollow body and synth pedals) and get the sounds I need, regardless of the venue. The diverse styles I play also require an amp that can deliver (church hymns, orchestra, blues, country, southern rock, motown, classic rock, jazz and acoustic rock.)
AMPEG is the only bass amp I use or recommend. Their tones are pristine, clear, concise and linear. The tube warmth and tone is there at any volume (in the studio or on the stage) and the headroom is unbeatable!
Pictured: 2-4x10 HE, 2- 4x10 HLF, 1-4x10 HLF Pro, SVP Pro preamp, SVT 2 Pro, SVT300 power amp, SVT CL, SVP 1500 power amp (road back up) and AFP-2 foot switch.
During a band/stage change last summer, at an outdoor festival, I was almost done with my rig set up (as pictured) and I heard the previous bands bass player tell the stage sound guy; "now I have amp envy!" Eliminate your "amp envy" with AMPEG!
I can be heard at: www.BrothersoftheSon.com & www.BlackWaterTribute.com
I would love to own a new AMPEG Micro-VR stack, it's perfect for practice, teaching and intimate club settings!
