I bought my first Ampeg, a V-4B when I was 17,that was soon followed by a B-15N and then a SVT rig.I have tried other amps but found them to be lacking when it came to "my sound"
I regretfully sold my old Ampeg's when I needed the money for my young family.
Now I am 38...well OK I'm 45 and currently own the following.
1993 SVT-ll
2006 SVT-2PRO
Two SVT-810E Cabinets
I will never let these Ampeg's slip away, except to hand them down to my Bass Player son who after playing through them is now also sold on the soul that is Ampeg!!!
