Anaheim, Calif.—January 19, 2006, NAMM: New from Ampeg is the SVT12HE, a high-output bass enclosure that brings Ampeg’s signature tone and power to the stage or rehearsal space in a compact and portable footprint.
The SVT12HE delivers 300 watts RMS of power handling and 123dB of SPL thanks to a front ported baffle and custom-designed 12-inch driver. Its compact enclosure weighs in at 46 pounds and measures only 165 x 21 x 16 inches (H x W x D). Like all Classic Series enclosure, the SVT12HE is constructed of rugged Baltic Birch plywood for structural integrity and maximum tonality.
