Ampeg Winter NAMM Wrap-Up

Ampeg introduced masses of new products as well as a few reissues of the classics including the Dan Armstrong Acrylic Guitar and the SVT-VR Vintage Reissue Classic Head. Brand new products this year are the SVT8PRO Amp Head, SVT12HE Bass Enclosure, B200R Combo Bass Amp, BA115T and BA115HPT Bass Series Combo Amps.

Rob Wasserman was the first endorsee to arrive at the Ampeg booth on Friday to a flock of eager fans, followed by Will Lee of David Letterman’s Band, Bootsy Collins, George Clinton, T.M. Stevens, Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath, Rex Brown of Pantera, Airin of Sugarcult, Bily Sheenan and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson.

Saturday night it was time to break out and party at the Official NAMM Bash, the HALO Guitar Party sponsored by Ampeg. Performances included Spiracell, Prong, the Coffin Girl’s and headliners CC Deville and Tracii Guns of Brides of Destruction.
