Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood is awesome. There’s tons of great bars, restaurants and larger music venues all packed into one walk-able neighborhood. It’s BBQ, bourbon and boozy shakes all day.
Every night is a great night for music in Ballard, but some are better than others. This weekend, Ballard hosts the Macefield Music Festival.
From the event website:
The Macefield Music Festival is 2 days of live music in various venues across Ballard. Still heavily NW music focused, this year the festival has expanded to include a second night, an all-ages main stage (rain or shine), a comedy showcase, and introducing…THE MACEFIELD MARKET, a 2 day long rock ’n’ roll market featuring a poster exhibition, record swap, trade show, clothing, artisans and crafts vendors with its own beer and drink garden!! The MACEFIELD MARKET will also feature live music and DJs and is free and open to the public.
Ampeg is supporting this event, providing Ampeg gear as backline for several of the stages. Here’s a list of all the Ampeg gear you can see and hear at this weekend’s festival:
